About Us
The Redemption Center Church, called by God to do a mighty work for His kingdom, was organized and established in March 2019. The state of Virginia and the United States Government officially chartered us in May 2019.
We were called to work with a vision to build a ministry after God’s own heart. This would reach out into the community as well as reach the uttermost parts of the earth, winning souls to Christ, laying hands on the sick, and bringing deliverance to set the captives free.
Our Mission & Community Outreach
Our experience with God and His plan for us has been distinctive. Our foundation was established in holiness and sanctification, that is, being set apart for the boundless work the Lord has prepared for us.
God revealed a plan to plant a church for Him, but our most important work was to be an outreach ministry in the community and meet the total needs of men, women, and children.
The chartered officers were established as the Church Board. Reverend Willis J. Ferrell is Pastor Director of the Board, Reverend Timothy E. Griffith is Assistant Pastor and Assistant Director, Sister Cynthia Phillips is Secretary, and Sister Alana Griffith is Treasurer.

Reverend Willis J. Ferrell, Ph.D. has been preaching and serving the Lord faithfully and currently resides as the proud leader of The Redemption Center Church. Reverend Willis J. Ferrell, Ph.D enjoys his unique responsibility as shepherd of The Redemption Center Church, and as overseer of this wonderful, spirit-filled ministry, Reverend Willis J. Ferrell, Ph.D. wants the best for all of us. An effective communicator of God’s Word, Reverend Willis J. Ferrell, Ph.D is known for his practical and dynamic teaching style, which helps people apply the timeless truths of Scripture to their everyday lives. Reverend Willis J. Ferrell’s anointing has allowed him to minister to those in need of healing of the mind, body, and soul. With such a great calling to fulfill, he finds time to make calls to our community, teach the word, and spend time studying God’s word. His ultimate desire is to see people fully embrace God’s love and to walk in victory and power while experiencing the fullness of God’s promises.
